Sectional Garage Doors

Sectional garage doors: strong, warm and secure

If you want the best all-rounder, this is it. The sectional door is by far the sturdiest domestic garage door I fit, with 45mm of insulation and automation that give you real confidence in its security and durability.

It comes with automation and remote handsets as standard, but it is also available as a manual door. There is a large range of colours and finishes to choose from, so it can be matched to almost any home.

How it opens

The door is made of insulated horizontal panels that lift straight up and slide back along tracks under the garage ceiling. It opens vertically, so you can park right up to it.

A great choice for

  • Integral garages attached to the house, where warmth matters
  • Garages used as workshops, gyms or extra storage
  • Anyone wanting the strongest, best insulated domestic door

Questions

Sectional Doors: common questions

What is the difference between a sectional and a roller door?

Both open vertically. A sectional door is made of thicker insulated panels that slide back under the ceiling, while a roller door rolls up into a box above the opening. Sectional doors are the sturdiest and best insulated, roller doors keep the ceiling clear.

Do I need a lot of headroom?

Sectional doors need some space above the opening and along the ceiling for the tracks. I check this on the free visit and will tell you straight away if another door would suit better.

Can I have a manual sectional door?

Yes. They come automated as standard, but manual versions are available.
