The up and over door is the one most of us grew up with, and for good reason. It is simple, tough and great value, and it is often the easiest like-for-like swap when an old door has had its day.
I supply and fit a wide range of up and over doors in a big choice of colours and designs, from plain and vertical rib to more traditional looks. They are available as manual doors or with a motor and remote handsets, so you never have to get out of the car in the rain again.
How it opens
The whole door tilts outwards at the bottom and lifts up into the garage roof space in one piece. You need a little clear space on the driveway in front of the door as it swings out.

If you only need to open half or a third of the door, like a pedestrian door, a side hinged door could be the answer. They are handy if you use the garage as a workshop or store, or if you just want to nip in and out without opening the whole thing.

Can you replace my old up and over door with a new one the same size?
Yes, that is one of the most common jobs I do. I measure up on a free visit, then remove the old door and fit the new one in the same opening.
Can I have an up and over door automated?
Yes. Up and over doors are available with a motor and remote handsets. Give me a ring and I can talk you through the options.
How long does fitting take?
It depends on the door and the opening. I will give you a clear idea of timings when I come out to quote.
